Stay on WTR
- Not much has changed for LLC
- Sends message that things are getting better; not enough progress
- Should be taking it seriously; still losing deans; reasons people are leaving have not changed; should we be creating a better/more comprehensive list
- Not causing admin enough pain
- Message to state is that we are still on WTR because we still have local problems
- No collaboration on problem solving, especially around hiring; work is being shifted to other employees who then get burned out
- Professional staff in LLC are really stressed out due to addition of duties
- Laundry list of complaints; sound like people are upset about the way college does business
Exiting WTR
- Has not been taken as seriously this time
- College is not making decisions based on WTR; not concerned
- Can use other strategies/job actions to push our positions
- Can be harmful if not followed
- Can we use motions for “asks” instead of WTR; can we roll back ways we are not cooperating at this point?
- Do we all have the same answer about why we are on WTR?
- Can we go off WTR and then back on for other reasons?
- Are there more targeted actions we can do? Can we file grievances for folks doing more than their E7s?
- Alternative job actions instead of WTR; maybe VONC?
- Need commitment of other members that WTR should be followed if we go back on; actions need support of all members and other union
- Express our voices in other ways
