- Committee met last Friday; should be expecting a tentative agreement to be acted on by members at beginning of next year
- Any back pay go back to Sept 2020
- Member question: What will contract add to distance learning agreement?

- MCCC maintains that faculty should be paid for development for each modality
- Autumn Alden recommends that faculty not advance dynamic form when denied for payment for other modalities

- Dual Enrollment Contract Notifications
- Union asked that deans provide a contract to any faculty who agrees to teach the course
- Way to head off any miscommunication between outside entity and faculty member (like OER, who will be in the course, etc.)
- Increase in DCE adjunct faculty
- Catherine Adamowitz: deans are advertising for more adjunct faculty while quite a few adjuncts are not being offered sections

- Problems with dates; dates weren’t suggested
- Amy Marden attended statewide meeting; seems that BR only CC in state that had a predetermined schedule
- Policy should be individually
- Some staff from different department form SSEM were asked to go back and revise their form and resign, agreeing to the predetermined times (buckets); seems like they were forced to re-sign
- Supervisors do not seem to be on board with telework
- Member Question/comment: students are requesting 90% virtual requests for meetings. Can this be tracked? Executive board can use all the data it can get.
- Offering hybrid approach to meet students needs already
- Member: Prof staff has been more productive with hybrid schedule (example can review more files at home)
- Admin wants to offer everyone the same, but not equitable
- Member Question: Is there a reason why admin insisting on in-person services? Data?
- Member Concern: walk in appointments; how is the vaccine policy going to be enforced for these students?
- Member: Students are used to the new norm: can do everything from home; we will have to adjust; face to face meetings-students don’t show
- Some areas must offer in-person, but others do not. How is that equitable?
